Procedural Terracotta RS Shader (customizable)

She's beauty, she's grace, she's a terracotta shader! Perfect for all your lovely 3D plants, pots, and everything in between! :)

With this terracotta shader you can customize:

• seed of all of the textures (so you can slap the same material onto a bunch of objects, but still mess with how they all show up on each unique item)
• design/etching scale
• color of the terracotta (driven with a ramp node, so you can get really custom)

There are TWO shaders in the scene file itself; the main terracotta shader, and a second material shader that has 'etching' featured on the surface. I built both of these to be completely procedural; made mostly with a TON of maxon noise nodes and some color layers for masking different portions(see the crazy screenshot below), but it comes together so well, whether you're viewing your objects close up, or far out (radical, man)!

Eventually, once I can sort out how to make an option for people to pick image files directly from the attributes panel, i'll update the file so you can edit that. BUT- If you feel so inclined to change out the design now, you can certainly dive into the node editor and find the image; then switch it out with your own seamless pattern to change up your pottery flair.

Any other materials that show in the materials tab in the C4D scene file are just for some of the items I used to make a real gobo shadow (like the tree model, or the window pane).

Also worth noting - this download file is a .zip file which has the C4D scene file - but there's also an added 'tex' folder including the design I used for the etching as well as the cracks image texture thats used in the terracotta, plus the dome light HDRI if you need it. :)
